How do I create an account?
Do I need to be a New Jersey resident to register and/or to play?
No, you do not need to be a resident of New Jersey. However you must be within the borders of the state of New Jersey to register and play our games. If you travel outside the state of New Jersey, you will not be able to play until you are once again within the borders of New Jersey. Please also see our FAQ section titled ‘Geolocation’ which can be found under the ‘My Account’ heading to the left.
What is Geo Location?
This is the technique we use to guarantee that anyone playing our games is located within the state of New Jersey in accordance with regulatory standards. Currently we determine your location via Wi-Fi signal triangulation and IP address. If there is a failure to confirm these, you may be unable to register or play. Should you be unable to play, try to ensure that you are physically inside the borders of New Jersey and if you still have problems, please contact our Customer Service Team. Why do I need to complete a long registration form?
Online gaming operations in New Jersey are regulated by the Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE). Only online casinos with approved regulated gaming permits are allowed to offer online gaming. As such, the registration requires a Know Your Customer (KYC) identity process to ensure the person registering is really you.
Can I log in with my existing My Borgata Rewards account details?
No, you will need to register for an online gaming account in order to play.
Why do I need to register an online account if I already have a My Borgata Rewards account?
Our online casino and poker sites require their own registration to create accounts. While our loyalty program will allow you to redeem online points for comp dollars to be used at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, they are still separate entities.
Can I use my Borgata Poker account to access Borgata Casino and vise versa?
Yes, your Borgata online gaming account is able to login and play on both BorgataPoker & BorgataCasino. You can even play some casino and table games within the BorgataPoker client and access poker from within the BorgataCasino client. However to get the best playing experience, you should log in separately to either BorgataCasino or BorgataPoker according to your preference as some games, features and services may not be available in cross play.
What currencies can I use as my account currency?
Borgata only accepts American currency (USD) as a deposit option.
How do I change my password/email address?
You can change your password or email address from your account profile page. Simply log in and click on “Account,” then select the “My Details” tab. From there you can select what you wish to edit.
Is it free to open and maintain a BorgataCasino online account?
Yes. There are no set up costs or monthly charges, You will need to deposit real money into your account through the cashier to play. Some transaction fees may apply, depending on how you want to send and receive money with us. For more information on cashier costs and fees, see our ‘Real Money’ section or visit the ‘Cashier’ when logged into your account.
Can I have more than one BorgataCasino account?
No. For security reasons you are only permitted to have one account; however, this account can be used to log into BorgataCasino.com or BorgataPoker.com.
How do I close my Borgata Casino or Borgata Poker account?
You may close your account at any time by simply contacting our Customer Service Team and requesting closure.
Why am I unable to close my account?
Please ensure the following actions are completed before you submit a request to close your account: cash out any amount greater than $1 from your account, complete any unfinished game/tournament and deregister from any pending tournaments you had signed up for.
How often must I log in to keep my account open?
There is no requirement for you to play or to add funds to keep your account open. However, you must log in at least once every 180 days; otherwise your account will be deemed abandoned and closed, and any remaining account balance could be forfeited.
