How do I create an account?

For all the details please visit our page titled How To Play And please remember, you must be at least 21 years old to be able to open a real money account. If you have trouble installing or starting the software or problems during registration, please contact our Customer Service team. Please also see our dedicated FAQ section called ‘Verification’.

Do I need to be a New Jersey resident to register and/or to play?

No, you do not need to be a resident of New Jersey. However you must be within the borders of the state of New Jersey to register and also to play. If you created your account in New Jersey and travel outside the state of New Jersey, you will not be able to play until you return to the state of New Jersey. Please also see our dedicated FAQ section called ‘Geo Location’.

What is Geo Location?

This is how we are required to ensure players are registering and playing from the state of New Jersey. The mechanism for this uses a combination of wireless transmission location, IP address and cell tower location. If there is a failure to confirm two of of these, you may be unable to register or play. Should you be unable to play, try to ensure that you are physically inside the borders of New Jersey and if you still have problems, please call customer service. Why do I need to complete a long registration form?

Online poker and casino games in New Jersey are regulated by the Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE). Only online casinos with approved regulated gaming permits are allowed to offer online gaming. As such, the registration requires a Know Your Customer (KYC) identity process to ensure the person registering is really you. It also serves to ensure your private details are kept safe and secure.

Can I log in with my existing My Borgata Rewards account details?

No, you will be required to register for an online gaming account. However you can link your MBR account with your online account and become eligible for enhanced rewards and loyalty.

Why do I need to register an online account if I already have a My Borgata Rewards account?

Our online casino and poker sites require their own registration to create accounts. While our loyalty program will allow you to spend online earnings at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, they are still separate entities.

Can I use my Borgata Poker account to access Borgata Casino and vise versa?

Yes, you can use one account to login and play on the other client. You can even play some casino and table games within the Borgata Poker client and access poker from within the Borgata Casino client. However to get the best playing experience, you should log in separately to either Borgata Casino or Borgata Poker according to your preference as some games, features and services may not be available in cross play.

Can I deposit and withdraw cash from the Borgata Casino website?

Yes, you can sign in to your account and deposit or withdraw cash. Please see our ‘Real Money’ section or click on ‘Cashier’ from within your BorgataCasino.com account for more details.

What currencies can I use as my account currency?

At the moment, we only support USD as the account currency.

Can I change my account/screen name?

You can change your screen name if you have a real money account. Just log in and click on “Account.” Select the “Personal details” option from the tiles on the right side. You will be able edit your screen name once every 180 days. You can't change your account name.

How do I change my password/email address?

You can change your password or email address from your account profile pages. Simply log in and click on “Account,” then select the “Personal Details” option from the tiles on the right side.

Is it free to open and maintain a BorgataCasino online account?

Yes. There are no set up costs or monthly charges, You will need to deposit real money into your account through the cashier to play. Some transaction fees may apply, depending on how you want to send and receive money with us. For more information on cashier costs and fees, see our ‘Real Money’ section or visit the ‘Cashier’ when logged into your account.

Can I have more than one BorgataCasino account?

No. For security reasons you are only permitted to have one account. If you have more than one account, please contact us immediately to have the accounts merged. Failure to do so may result in closure of all accounts and forfeiture of your account balances. You may however register for both a BorgataCasino and a BorgataPoker account. These are separate accounts that will allow you to play both poker as well as casino games and slots. There is a shared wallet and you may transfer funds between these two accounts.

How do I close my Borgata Casino or Borgata Poker account?

You may close your account at any time by simply contacting our Customer Service teamand requesting closure.

Why am I unable to close my account?

Please ensure the following actions are completed before you submit a request to close your account: cash out any amount greater than $1 from your account, complete any unfinished game/tournament and deregister from any pending tournaments you had signed up for.

How often must I log in to keep my account open?

There is no requirement for you to play or to add funds to keep your account open. However, you must log in at least once every 180 days; otherwise your account will be deemed abandoned and closed, and any remaining account balance could be forfeited.
